If Frank leaves LSU, Johnson is going to make recruiting the New Orleans area hell for LSU. Not saying LSU won't get most of who they want, but Johnson is going to be a large thorn.

Don't underestimate Curtis Johnson. He was a amazing recruiter at Miami. I doubt he takes anything from LSU but he'll keep other schools out better than you think. He'll mostly clean up guys that could probably get LSU offers but we don't want. I expect Tulane to get a lot better.
And I seriously doubt Wilson leaves for a OC job at Ole Piss. That wouldn't be a promotion for him based on the state of that program. Not to mention the mediocre coaching staff they put together over there.

Gotta give him props for trying.
I actually hope he does well at Tulane. I'd like to see them turn the program around.

I predict he will get a top notch wide receiver every now and then ala Roydell Williams (or whatever his name is).

If Tulane gets a top ten player in the state that we offer, I'll shave a T into my sack and parade around New Orleans screaming Hullabaloo!

LSU fans are unbelievable sometimes. Anybody that follows recruiting knows Johnson is not referring to LSU caliber players. Louisiana is loaded and all Tulane needs are the second tier guys and they will kick butt. LSU can't and won't sign alot of of good 2 star kids in Louisiana.

What do you expect him to say?
"I'm happy taking LSU's scraps"

Reminds me of Jerry Baldwin when he was hired at USL. He said that he was there to compete for national championships!
We all know how that worked out.

LSU can only take so many. There are many Loisiana players in the NFL that played in schools other than LSU. With a good eye and a lot of luck, he could do well.

Tulane still has a football team?
(ETA: I looked it up - son of a gun, they do. Perspective wise, Miles, at LSU, has won games that you would have to combine all of the Tulane coaches back to Buddy Teevens - whoever that was - and if Miles wins 20 games over the next 2 seasons, Tulane would have to go all the way back to Mack Brown - 25 years of coaches to equal Miles' production in 9 seasons. If you combined the Saban and Miles wins, just back to 2000, that equals all the wins by Tulane coaches going back to the mid-70s. So, the more you know....)
