You must be a newborn, since there was a better player on the field last season.

Patrick Peterson was top to bottom a better player and it's shown in the NFL. Peterson also has the hardware to prove it. Mathieu is awesome and has shown some great stats. The reason Peterson didn't put up such gaudy numbers is because no one dared try to pass against him. When your opponent avoids you at all costs, that is greatness..

Peterson has never had a season like TM7, and was not as impactful as TM7. He was a great physical corner and was pretty good in the return game, but he basically disappeared after the WVU game last year.

PP was more impactful last yr, but Tyrann had a damn good year. I think Tyrann's '11 > PP's 10.

and PP hasn't done so hot in coverage in the NFL, though he has been a badass return.

That's a crock. TM has made his impact causing and recovering fumbles in run support and on the corner blitz......and his TD returns have typically come in more clutch moments.
