In no way am I saying Mett should have started. With the defense being one of the best I have ever seen I believe we would be undefeated with Mett starting. Lee doesn't get enough credit for what he did those first 7 games or so. I honestly can tell you I will jump for joy when we get new QB's no offense to JJ and Lee.

Would depend upon how he fared against Bama. That's really the only game where a certain type of QB play was required. For the rest, you could have plugged in 7 other SEC QBs and seen similar results.

I believe so we havnt won with great offense, met is infinitely more talented than the other two and it would have begun to show after a couple of games. Probably allowed LSU to do more on offense before it was all over with. Answer is yes still undefeated

I certainly think we'll be undefeated with Mett starting next year!

We need to make sure Mett's backup is ready. What if Mett gets injured?

You have no idea how Mett will perform and neither do I. There is one fellow, though, who is an expert in these sorts of things. He's also scouted Mett before we signed him, and he's been able to watch Mett practice all year. He thinks we'd be worse with Mett, otherwise he'd have started him. His name is Les Miles.

I'm looking forward to seeing Mett play next year. That is unless CLM decides he wants to stir up the Rant and start another QB controversy between Mett & Randall...........

I think we'd be undefeated no matter which of the 3 started. IMHO this team has been the most dominate LSU team in my lifetime, by far, with 2 average QB's.

I shudder to think if we had someone like RG3 how scary we would be.

We would absolutely be undefeated with Mett. The only difference is more convincing victories. We would have functioned on all cylinders for the entire season.
