If there is no "rematch"...

I told some peeps at work today that if we do not play Bama in NC, although we have no control over whom we play, that it's gonna be 2003 all over again. Talking heads still think we wouldn't have beaten USC that year & if we don't beat Bama AGAIN this year, they will say the same. So, in essence, we need to hope for this "rematch" or we r faced with possibly 3 "questionable" BCS crystal balls. Bring Bama on!!
(Although I guess we didn't already beat them, they beat themselves, in their own house....)

If it were aperfect world, Saban would man up and tell everyone that if his team couldn't win its own division, much less its conference, they don't deserve to play in the NC. Same with us, LSU.... if we don't beat UGA in the SECCG, we won't deserve to play in the NC.

The Crystal Ball is all that matters...All these teams are part of the BCS and agree that The BCS Championship is what they play for. Bama has no argument if they are not picked to play in the championship. They were beaten at home...

The difference in 2011 and 2003 is we beat the team that people thought should be in the game.

I am a Bammer and you are dead wrong. You win whoever plays in the NC game and nobody is going to say shite about LSU not deserving it. We're just hoping we get another shot. If we win I hope we win big so we look deserving but even if its by 1pt we'll put the trophy on display and count #14. If LSU wins it, even if you play VaTech, no body will dispute it. Not even us.

the same logic would apply if Va Tech and Okie Lite win their conferences and do not get a shot at LSU.
so I would prefer to give a one loss conference champ a shot.
And in the end, If LSU is undefeated, no one will be able to doubt them. LSU already beat Bama @ Bama. that shall suffice.

Couldn't disagree with you more. We want to see who the #1 team is and "every game counts" so we beat Bama on their field and that settles that they're not #1. Now let's see if someone else can kick us off the mountain. I don't believe they can, but truthfully you have a point.
I'd love to play them again just to shut up all of the gumps up here in TN that think they gave us the game in BDS and that it was a fluke.
I can promise you one thing. If we had lost by 3 in OT they would not be calling it a fluke!

Let's make the reasonable assumption that LSU beats GA. I believe, firmly, that the best Bama should get is a share of the title, granted they win the rematch. But I like your spirit.
