Yeah if we change to an 8 team playoff, then whoever is 9-12 is gonna be pissed they didn't get in.
With the BCS, it's 9-12, its 3-6/7 who have the beef. That's a big difference.

Columnists are already whining that LSU doesn't even have to win the SEC championship to go the national championship. Can you imagine how boring the end of the season will be if the top 8 teams can all sandbag the last few weeks?
Personally I prefer to see the teams go at it every week. Otherwise I'd be watching the NFL.
