The discussion was whether there was any scenario where Ok State could move past Alabama and get into the BCS Championship game.

Millen's take was that OK ST could get in over LSU, if LSU lost to UGA.

I guess he would consider 11-1 Ok St with a signature win over a 2-loss Oklahoma > than a 12-1 LSU with three wins over top 4 teams and wins against 3 other ranked opponents.

Millen's scenario would also require an 11-1 Alabama team to be elevated over a 12-1 LSU team that beat Bama in Tuscaloosa and had an otherwise tougher schedule.

No wonder the Lions tanked when that fool was their GM.

The guy is an idiot, there are people on this site more qualified for the job he does than he is.

ESPN actually pays these people to say these things. It's amazing.

Yeah I was watching that until I heard him say that, and just changed the channel. It wasn't even worth getting upset or anything, it was just too... ridiculous to care

I guess technically he is right. It's possible, though extremely unlikely. Much less likely than OSU jumping Bama with a win against OU.

I don't see why LSU should be punished for a loss in the SECCG, a game Bama didn't have to play. That's just absurd.

You still cannot put Bama over LSU even if LSU lost. This is a fact. How can you justify it? How? LSU beat Bama h2h at their house and has way more SOS and quality wins.. and more LSU will have played in more games.

LSU losing to Georgia should actually hurt Bama IMO.

Well obviously the argument for getting into the championship game is not about who you've beat but about who you lost to. This, as you know is why bama is getting in over okie state.

Well bama lost to the #1 team and we will have lost to the #13 or whatever they are. So obviously they are in over us. And I guess because we lost after okie state did, they would obviously get in over us.

Resumes don't mean anything.

you can't reward bama for sitting out if LSU loses in a championship game. that would be horeshit considering LSU beat them. the regular season means too much in college football to let bama play with house money. this is what pisses me off.

so many people tend to say oh lsu fans would be whining if the tables were turned, but honestly i would actually understand the fact that we had our shot. i honestly would understand; the only thing i may be upset with is if officiating costed us the win.. then i admit i might be whining.

We should be playing to win the game, instead of the media trap to plsy not to lose.

He can't help it. He has been having Sandusky flashbacks since the story broke. Call it PTSD.

LSU has the stronger resume this season by far over all other college football teams schedules and results, it's not even close.
I just hope this team keeps its focus in the remaining 2 games they play and win them both.
