I'm looking for a waterfront camp somewhere on the south half of Toledo Bend. Either the Texas or Louisiana side. Any ideas?

to rent or to buy....for how many folks? what price range?
Give some details...lots of us fish TB and there are a few on the board that have camps on TB so we should be able to help you out.

I want to find one to buy. I need at least two bedrooms so that I can bring my grandkids. The biggest problem is that I want a camp not a home. Many of the real estate listings are above $130,000 and that is more than I want to invest. I would love to be able to find something between $100,000 and $75,000.

You might have to find some dirt and start from scratch. I will keep my eyes open but hard to find in that price range. There is a waterfront trailer on a larger than most leased lot I know of for 22.5 and the lease is 6-700 per year. There are some lots roughly 1 acre in a new subdivision they are putting in next to my place for roughly 70k. you can put a camper on it till you build. They did have some lots less than that that you could put mobile/doublewides on but i havent seen any of those come back up for sale

Can you give me the info for those lots?

They should be giving them away since most launches are unusable and may be for the next 5 years or so.

My Dad is selling our old camp of 20 years because he is moving the House on it to a new development.
It is near Kites landing on the La side and has all improvements to receive a trailer or modular home.
The cove (as most are) is dry and will be that way for a while but most owners are improving their docks or adding boat houses.
He lives in Sulphur. I do not know what he is asking.

These are the lots and all have deep water access. Right on my perch holes.

the website says they are sold but i know one was for sale from the current owner at a reduced price (health). call Ted at the # on the site he would have the guys info. When the development started ted had a partner who works for SRA. I spoke to him last week about a permit issue and I think he has a few lots. If not he might know of some. The oly # I have for him is the SRA 318.256.4112 Harold Temple
here is the trailer on the leased lot
