Saw him in 7 on 7's.
Looked almost as good as Landon Collins.

Florida is and has always been the favorite. FSU is still there but fading. ND got a visit but I don't think they really have a shot. USC is the team to watch. Kiffin and co have been on him for 3 years and have always impressed him. I wouldn't be suprised at all if he ended up in LA. A lot of USC people are very confident as are UF people. Betting man says UF but are a little scared of USC stealing him.

why would someone go there?
they are going to be short 30 scholarship players when Nelson is a junior. they are going to be beat to shite. no bench.

The 30 scholarship thing is being misinterpreted. You're right that they lose 30 scholarships but in reality it just means they can't give out more than 15 a year. I don't know how many they have currently on scholarship so I can't give exact numbers so I'll break it down as if it were close to a normal situation.
85 currently on scholarship
15 lost after 2011
15 incoming recruits
85 on schollie for 2012
20 lost after 2012
15 incoming recruits
80 on schollie for 2013
20 lost after 2013
15 incoming recruits
75 on schollie for 2014
Depending on how many they lose for the next 3 years will determine how many below 85 they will be in 2014. If they lose no more than 45 those 3 years they will still be at 85 after the sanctions. That's not likely to be the case so they'll likely be somewhere between 65-75 in 2014 depending on all the attrition. Not ideal but not like playing with 55 scholarship players.
The reason recruits will continue to go there is because of location, education,USC being a great school and the fact that their 2 deep will be extremely talented. Injuries would be very damaging but if they are healthy, they'll remain competitive in the Pac 12.
