When running up the score is running up the score:

When Spurrier had Wuerfful and the Fun 'n' Gun beating teams by 60 and tossing TD's late in the 4th quarter and then claiming it's just the offense they run. What was even more humiliating for opponents is that they had to agree with Spurrier's take or else he'd do more damage the next year. That is running up the score.
What happened tonight was Les Miles legitimately putting the game out of reach. 8:40 left in Q4 up by 21 and you get the ball back against a team with an explosive offense and a great punt returner - you have to score if your LSU. The risk of not scoring or 3 and out is too high. Petrino must be too emotional and fragile to understand respect when it's right in front of him.

So this is the first time you've seen Petrino?

Miles is a class act and this was nothing more than good football especially, in view of the murky BCS picture. What happened was a meltdown of a small, little man across the field demonstrating on national TV a complete lack of composure...and, class.

You are really not being fair here coming on and stating logic and facts...

Never saw him coach at Louisville. Was referring more to his SEC years.
