Playing Bama and the missed FG's

If you want to talk about missed field goals, maybe we should bring up 1998. In that game, something happened that none of us will EVER see again: the LSU kicker missed field goals off of each upright AND off the crossbar. That was some crazy unlucky shite. Also, I believe Bama scored TWO TD's off of tipped balls.

That game fricking killed me. After that game, I really thought that we would never beat those frickers in Tiger Stadium.

Don't forget the dropped TD by Booty in the EZ which would have won the game.

Picked off after it went through his hands.

..and don't forget the shanked 25 FG by Ronnie Lews in 1984 at the end of the 14-14 tie.

They could be pissed if they missed chip shot field goals, but that's not what happened. Get closer if you want to blame the kicker.

A guy on XM called in on the morning show on College Radio, and he said that the reason Bama's kicker missed so many field goals was due to his girlfriend dying!? Anybody hear that? Never mind the fact that bama used two kickers in the game...
