My nephew goes by a nickname and 99% of people don't know his real name. Still...I know it...that really sounds like a red flag.

Well the guy did know his name...It just didn't come to him right away. I agree it's strange, but it seems like he figured it out

In all fairness, at first, I think I pronounced his name wrong.

When he acted confused, I stumbled out with some "Duh-Kweel...Duh-Keel (like Shaquille)" or vice versa, then it was "OH! Dookus!"

Red flag? I after 23 years on earth just learned that my grandnothers name is not ma potty day (sp?). Dont underestimate the stupidity of humanity in relation to nicknames. Good info Freek!
