For added amusement, this is how I proceeded to respond...

quote:

dude...you cannot be serious.....if Alabama's offense and defense were both better than LSU's...than Alabama's offense would have actually scored some points and Alabama would have won the game, thats all there is to it...AND REID'S INTERCEPTION WAS OFFICIALLY REVIEWED AND UPHELD...FIND ME ONE ARTICLE BY ANY SPORTS ANALYST/EXPERT THAT THOUGHT THAT INTERCEPTION WAS GARBAGE!!! I sincerely hope that you do realize that only you and other Alabama fans are the only ones talking about that interception, there is nothing on ESPN or anywhere for that matter...ALSO, LSU WAS RIGHT ON THE 2 YARD LINE RIGHT BEFORE THE HALF AND RAN OUT OF TIME TO SCORE A TD!! (they also pushed the ball all the way to the seven yardline in OT, and where did bama go??? BACKWARDS!) So if anything, LSU was the only one that had any chance of scoring a TD

The guy ended up deleting his status

Yea the bammers are in shock here. They are blaming Saban's coaching on the loss. They were expecting to win. Giving Lsu no credit at all. Going to take a beat down in the dome for them to admit lsu being the better team this year.

The "no credit to LSU/we lost it" is what seems to be coming out the most.

Again, they can't admit anything else. It goes against their whole little crimson colored world where little nicki is a diety. While there is a big article giving Miles credit in the Mobile Register today, there are also at least two other cheap shots taken at him.

Absolute most brainwashed delusional fans in college football. Absolutely horrible and I will cheerish this victory for a long long long time.

They will NEVER get it.

Lived in Mobile for five years and was beyond shocked at the myopia in the entire state for the tide.

They would make a great case study for Psych courses at every major university in the country.

I hope Boise beats them by 20. And I'll be there rooting right along with BSU.

365 days of glory.

A friend at church who is a Bama season ticket holder told me he sold his tickets because he didnt think Bama would win. Made enough to cover next years tickets, for the season.

One of the few smart, realistic ones around.

I live and work in Alabama. One of my employees sent me a youtube video of ER1's interception. I sent him back a picture of PP7's interception in 2009 and asked him if he wanted to continue the conversation. He went on a rant about that being the worst call in SEC history then made a joke about PP7 being out of bounds and asked me "what's your point?". I said the score is still 9-6 LSU, "what's your point"?

I've said enough and am not going to engage in discussions that will not affect the outcome of the game.

9-6, LSU won, 'nuff said.

but Alabama had more than double the passing yards that LSU had. Offense goes to Alabama.
They also had about twice the attempts passing, so this is a bullshite argument also.LSU threw 17 times to Bamas 30

Alabama also dropped two passes in the endzone that should have been TDs.

Both passes were extremely close to being picked off.

LSU dropped one that wasn't close to being picked off.

Wow. Talk about seeing what you want to see.

I've never encountered a more elitist fan base than Bama. Saban's arrival has made them worse. The Bammers I know totally bought in to those that labeled Bama as "unbeatable." Now they're reeling. Can't get through a conversation with them without one or all of the following flying out of their mouths:

We're still the best team in the country
LSU didn't beat us, we beat ourselves
Missed calls did us in
Mathieu is a thug

Help us all if Auburn is able to pull off the upset in the Iron Bowl!

I remember Taylor almost picking one to Bell in the endzone but I dont remember another in the endzone, but I was drinking and was probably legally drunk for half the game.

I love it. Miles has given us four years of fun being able to beat both state teams. Enjoy it. I sure as hell am.
