Why should LSU have to be Bama twice for NC when they would only have to beat us once? Why should we have to win an extra game in the SEC championship to even get the opportunity to do that??

there will not be a rematch pending two major losses. Bama still has to play Auburn.

There won't be a rematch. Alabama had their shot, just like Oregon.

Because Karma/Fate/Destiny has come to collect on the favor we owe them for the last title we won. Remember the 2 loss championship where all the dominos fell in place in order for us to just get into the title game.

We benefited big time. Now what goes around comes around. Watch how it falls in place for Bama just as it did for us then.

A rematch is no good for three reasons:

1) Alabama lost in their house. You can't lose in your house and expect a rematch.

2) If LSU wins, it proves we're definitively better than Bama. If Bama wins, then we've each one once. Why would Bama then get the NC?

3) If you can't win you division, much less your conference, you don't deserve to play for the NC.

Bama may very well be the second best team in the country, but they should not be in over a one loss/no loss Pac-12 or Big 12 championship team.

bc we won. Had Bama beat us i would be all for it.

Seriously tho, most pundits said a rematch would be most likely if bama beat us in a close game. Pollsters won't forgive the home team for losing + our OOC schedule gives us an edge.

I'm all for a rematch if it's determined LSU/Bama are the 2 best CFB teams. I think last night proved we are. We'll see how Stanford + Okie State finish out.

If you can't win your conference you don't deserve to be there

Because it's a national championship, not conference.

I have traditionally hated Boise pretty good. But that's f'd up if Oregon gets a rematch over undefeated Boise. Nobody wants to see Oregon get rolled again. Give Boise a shot so we can end that discussion.

It would not be fair unless it was a best two out of three game format and that isn't happening.

Agreed. The extra game that we would have to win in the SEC championship alone should prevent any rematch.

Doubt the BCS would allow it to happen. Not as money as another game w/different opponent.

The BCS is supposed to match the #1 and #2 teams in the country. W and L's have nothing to do with it.

Of course if Bama would have won last night yall would be singing a different tune.
