Be Thankful/Blessed.....This IS the greatest LSU team in history.....Here's why.

Yes....even better than Mauck's '03 team..
o Quality over quantity on # of plays in Playbook
o MASSIVE depth
o '11 Lee is better than '07 Flynn ('08 Lee sucked)
o Backup defensive end is a 6'5" 240 lb sophomore who runs a 4.5 forty...
o You're excited when the Punter comes in...
o CLM is Dumb like a Fox.....
o Controlled Thuggery (act up, get suspended)
o Too many ranked opponents manhandled
o Robert Smith even says we're good...
o AND...My cousin, HUGE Michigan Wolverine fan, says we are....
I challenge you to name a better team than the one now...Ain't no way you can

This is the most complete and deep team I've ever seen at LSU. That said, they have one HUGE barrier between now and a national championship game and that is a GREAT alabama team. This game will be one for the ages.

LSU's only problem is that they are playing, argueably one of the best Bama teams of all time this Saturday in DBS.

This may well be one of the best if not the best at LSU. I will reserve final thoughts on that by

This team cannot be compared to a team from a half century ago.

Dude,
The 03 team has a RING. This LSU team won't win the west if they don't win Saturday. Rings are the most significant way in which you become great. We have to win this weekend in order to prove anything. If we stumble then we haven't accomplished anything that we needed to accomplish. No SECW/SEC chamionship or Natty. Wait till after the game to tag this team as anything
