This is a negative, not a positive buddy. We want growing markets, not stagnant or declining ones.

Does not matter. WVU is a small school and your small alumni base matters very little. It's the millions of sidewalk fans the tv markets are going after and WVU does not have it.

Because you play in lots of Thursday and Friday night games.

I actually prefer WVU to Mizzou because despite your small state, your fans actually care and this is the product the SEC sells best: passionate fans and packed out stadiums. Long term, I think Mizzou ends up being a drain. They have mediocre fan support now and they are the best they have been in decades. Imagine the fan support when a decade of mediocrity in the SEC plagues them. WVU fans would at least still show up and irrationally think they will win the SEC every year just like the rest of us crazy SEC fans.

I find it hard to believe that a West Virginia Thursday night game gets more viewers than an SEC game, and ACC game, or A&M/t.u.
