That website looks to have questionable quality. And it just makes no sense for Rich Rod to want the Tulane job. He can do better and they screwed him over before.

I've had a couple of professors (one slipped up) with pretty good intel on the search all but confirm RichRod is the guy they really want and that there is interest

Hmm. Seems to me that RichRod could get a much better job than Tulane.
I could see him at a mid-level BCS job really soon....Ole Miss, Arizona, Kentucky, Kansas, boston college....some job similar to those.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I see no way RichRod takes the Tulane job.

tulane is not being sold as typical tulane...I think the interest they get is because they are telling candidates, 'we want to take on the big boys, and we're serious about our football program'

Problem with that and Rich Rod is he's been there so he knows that's 100% bullshite. Most other candidates will see through that too.

Corey Johnson said Rich Rod and Tommy Bowden both called the day Toledo got fired to put their names in. Tulane is moving to the Big 12 and getting an on campus stadium.

cowen is getting really serious about this, I think he is no longer apathetic about tulane football...you don't spend 2 mil on a coach and raise a shitzillion dollars for a stadium unless you're committed to winning
