He dove for the pylon and without hesitating the referee could not wait to raise his hands denoting touchdown....no help...not looking at the other officials....just straight up....touchdown! Video shows very close, but no conversation with anyone....just straight touchdown and Alabama cheers...

This is what we face in Alabama....I do not remember LSU getting a call in that state ever since the conference is located there, the head of officials is an Alabama graduate and a lot of them live in the state....this is all that worries me about next week....the fricking zebras....

You're mad that they made the right call without hesitation? Also, EVERY play is reviewed by the booth. Some of you people are just awful.

get over the refs already you freakin bunch of women. you never loose/win a game because of one play. start having a little faith in the team that has been beating the crap out of everyone they have played

I still can't get over the fact that the ref initially marked the ball down on the 1 yard line when Shep dove over the pylon yesterday. I was so pissed at that. I was sitting in the North End Zone completely opposite of where it happened, and I could see it in real time. He was standing right there.

It shows one of two things:

1. The overall mindset of SEC refs in regards to LSU football. That is, never giving LSU the benefit of the doubt on any single call.

2. The SEC refs are a bunch of amateurs that would never make it to the next level of officiating as an NFL ref because they're too stupid and too slow to keep up with a fast pace of football.

One of those 2 scenarios is correct, if not both. That was absolutely chickenshit that call was not initially called a TD (like the McCarron one), and simply reviewed to verify it.

Let it go, Lagdon. The correct call was made in the booth. While I share your concerns about the refs in Alabama, I'm pretty sure if the crews were reversed the one that was in Baton Rouge yesterday would have needed booth help had it been in T-town.

Remember the pass interference call last night against RR? That was the identical play that happened at Auburn when Doucet was mugged and the so called smart officials claimed there was no infraction because the ball was tipped before it got to the receiver. Remember the SEC head of officilas agreeing that it was the right call?
