Some of our fans are arrogant busybodys who feel like it's their place to stick their noses into what other fans (who bought their tickets too) do, such as leaving early if they so choose.

I've already answered this question. No, I didn't. Why? Because I live one thousand miles from Baton Rouge. That being said, I still have season tickets and fly several hours three or four times a season to attend home games. This season, I have been in Dallas and at the Florida game. I'll be in Tuscaloosa next week. I'll be at Arkansas. And to answer your next question, no, I have never left a game early.
And I have no problem at all calling fans who leave early for no fricking reason sluggards. They are. There may be a very small percentage of the fans who have a legitimate professional, medical, or family excuse for leaving. No problem. But most people just want to run home so they can...sit on their sofa. There was a time in TS history not too long past when this wasn't as much of an issue. But it has become a plague over the last decade. A plague of lazy dogs with limited attention spans, minimal passion, and a hankerin' for their air conditioning and barca loungers.

I just think it is unfair to the thousands that would like to purchase season tickets (but can't) and would stay the entire game. When I had season tickets (which I paid scalper prices for) I NEVER left early. Unfortunately, I can't go to the games now due to medical reasons but watching on TV you can see how empty the stadium does get. I worry more about the players than what people think in general but it really is ashame given the history of Tiger Stadium. Some of these fans would do well to read Bradley's "It Never Rains in Tiger Stadium".....specifically the part about the post USC game!

The fans who stay until the end of the game and cheer passionately for their team for sixty minutes are, in fact, better supporters than those who leave early so that they can get in their nap and their CSI.
I' sorry if that hurts your feelings.
I love how defensive the sluggards get.
