Some of these fans would do well to read Bradley's "It Never Rains in Tiger Stadium".....

Read it.

It was a whiny, self-serving, overindulgent piece of crap. And I'm pretty much not alone in that viewpoint.

So you weren't even at the game, but you have the audacity to call people out for leaving early? Do you have any idea how ignorant you sound right now?

This argument is nonsensical. I'll prove it. I was at the Florida game. A lot of people left that game early as well. So I'll just call THOSE fans lazy bastages, since I stayed until the end of that game. There, now your "objection" has been dealt with.

I have no problem at all calling fans who leave early for no fricking reason sluggards. They are.

My take is that many of the real fans got priced out by TAF and ticket price increases. I'm guessing that many who sit between the 20's (not all but many) go for the social event, and really aren't die hard fans. So they leave early. That didn't happen 10 years ago.JMO

Your argument makes absolutely no sense, FWIW. You're claiming these people are lazy because they don't want to sit on their arse for 3 hours.

Exactly. And then those same "fans" get defensive when you point out that they aren't as passionate and dedicated as those who remain...or those who generally populated TS before 2003. Nouveau riche dilletantes.

What do our fans need to do that is so much more important than supporting the team...in a win or a loss?

The fans who stay until the end of the game and cheer passionately for their team for sixty minutes are, in fact, better supporters than those who leave early so that they can get in their nap and their CSI.

Those fans are better than your lazy POS arse that couldn't even drag your disinterested arse to the game. Thousand miles? Drive a car and support your team. Or does that take too much energy?

Why do you care if people leave the game early, anyway? Is it costing you anything or physically hurting you? Why do you give a shite if people want to beat the traffic?

frick, since you're such a diehard superfan, take advantage of the situation and spread out a little and get comfortable. Or is that something only lazy sluggards do?

Oh...I loved it. But I'm a girl and can get in touch with my emotions much better than the boys can. I thought it was sad how his love for LSU was so strong he could never come back. Oh well...

Physically hurting me? No. Ruining the ambiance in Tiger Stadum? Yes indeed. Tiger Stadium is a unique environs in all of college football. The only thing that makes it so are the passionate fans. Over the last decade, the passion - and hence the atmosphere - have been waning. That's why I give a shite.

IDK, I've seen worse. Seems like a lot of people were hanging around to see if we hit 50. Yes by the mid-4th Q it was half empty.

If you were the super fan you claim to be, you'd get off your lazy sluggard arse and drive to every single LSU game.

But since you don't, using you're logic, I'm a better fan than you are. Am I right?

Doesn't it affect how the players feel? Wouldn't it affect potential recruits? I heard that the #1 QB prospect was at this game (if that's even true). I just wonder how it affects their viewpoints, if at all.
