Trey Burton asked about LSU secondary: "They’re not as good as advertised. I think the D-linemen and front seven is really, really good."

Alabama’s hands down a lot better. A lot more physical, just tougher guys.

If I had to pick one to not go against, it’d definitely be Alabama.

I agree that Bama has bigger, more physical players, especially their front 7, but that doesn't mean they are a better defense. Different philosophies.

Our D is built on speed in the front 7

I'm sure he wishes he could play his own teams defense every week.

nobody cares. Burton is irrelevant. Nobody's gonna remember his name in 5 years.

Translation: I'm using the idea that the bama game injuries are why we lost to LSU not because we are an inferior team.

He may or may not be correct. We all find out on Nov 5.
Going to be tough to leave AL with a W.
Not only more explosive running game with Trent R but also a Bad a-- defense. In addition, the SEC mafia will be out to frick us over again.
Great Bulletin Board Material. Blow it up and put it on a poster on Skip Bertman Drive ......

This the same guy? From lsusports.net:

Trey Burton had five running attempts and two passes for a total of 13 yards

From Burton's perspective, I think he's right. Bama played UF much tougher than LSU did. Bama's modus operandi is obviously to control the game with pain.

Watch the Bama vs. UF game again and count the number of times a UF player is body-slammed in the white part of the field. I'm not saying it should have been a penalty, but you can just see that Bama "finishes" every tackle with a little something extra. LSU needs to be prepared, especially Ware. I guarantee that Bama will notice that Ware turns his back to get extra yds. Expect Bama to put a helmet in his kidneys. That game will not be for the feint of heart.
