Nah...Bishkek was off limits, we had to stay on the base there at Manas. We couldn't by drinks in transit either, which sucked watching all the Air Force guys drink it up, but we were able to get our hands on a bottle of Makers Mark.

Wow, your post gave me chills.

Just think of the game now! Imagine being in the seat when the Goldenband takes the field and you hear that slow drum beat letting you know the pregame song is underway. Omg can't wait!!!!!!

I remember having to deal with that on my way in to Afghanistan, in Manas and Germany.

Not looking forward to having to deal with it again.

Dustoff?? Those guys were amazing, brought us most of our patients and would fly into anything...be safe over there man!

Be safe heading home man...yeah the transit is kind of a pain, but its worth it once you get on that plane headed for the states...where were you at?

Yes sir we fly dustoff missions. Yeah shite gets crazy at times but it's what we get paid to do. We just get them stable, ya'll are the ones who have to put in the long hours with them. Worked with some good corpsman throughout the tours.
