I like your way of thinking. He is a great leader. Last year I went to the Florida game as a student sat on the third row off the field right behind the team. Man it really pissed me off to watch JJ bitch at the receivers. The guy just has a bad attitude.

Miles answered that he will keep Lee as his starter as we move forward and that it would be irresponsible for him to do otherwise. This got an applause from the crowd. Miles went on to say that it is also important to realize that Jefferson brings a skill set that will allow him to play some and be a plus to the team, but that right now it's Lee's opportunity.

Best thing I've seen from Lee was against MSU. He was going to throw a pass out in the flats and went to throw and at the last second, pulled it back and lofted it over the defenders hands. a couple of yrs ago that would have definitely been a pick 6.

Exactly what is this supposedly invaluable "skill set" that only Jefferson possesses?

I think that it exists only in Miles' own mind.

When Miles says stuff like this:

"I know that this is his team," Miles said. "He misses the opportunity to be out there practicing and improving. I know that, like his teammates, he wants to win a championship.

I get worried....still feels like he thinks JJ is the starter. Lee should have been the starter all along with JJ coming off the bench. It's not exactly surprising to a defense when you bring a pure passer off the bench. Leadership, patience, are running this show now. I just hope it doesn't get messed with.
