I don't think a good NFL franchise will ever take the risk because Miles's goofiness will always make him a hard sell to a fanbase.

But I think the sentiment is right, Miles knows how to motivate the modern young player. It is why LSU as a team is always up for games. (Maybe not always ready in X's and O's, but always motivated.) You give Miles a couple of good NFL coordinators, and he could be successful at that level. Don't think he will ever get the chance though, and he might not ever want it anyway.

And I don't understand why the NFL still wants to think a good college coach will make a good pro coach. How many times has that failed?

Les Miles can't leave LSU until Joe Alleva is replaced.

if we have to find another head coach, I would rather Alleva not be involved.
