...would UGA really lose a lot if Ga. Tech came into the SEC? They were in the conference before (a founding member as I recall). Because of their academic standards, I really would not expect a big drop off for UGA's recruiting.

Multiple sources have reported that there isn't one. More than have definitively reported that it exists.

I would take about 10 teams before Ga. Tech. personally. They bring nothing to the table...at all

They were charter members of the SEC. The only defector I'd be willing to welcome back is Sewanee. Georgia Tech and Tulane can both go straight to hell.
