Just received word from the league office in Birmingham. Here is the Aggie's 2012 SEC Schedule:

@ LSU
@ Alabama
@ Auburn
Arkansas - Dallas
@ Florida
@ Georgia
@ Tennessee
vs. Vanderbilt

The exact dates haven't been determined yet.

Phil maybe you could get Ole Miss or Tenn for them at Kyle Field as a substitute for one of those road games...that would give them 2 SEC at home in the first year

That's a pretty salty schedule for the Aggies. Every legit team in the SECW and all but SC in the SECE.

Keeping the 8-game schedule or going to 9?

If true that ATM to play an unbalanced roadie schedule, I think it will help their players long-haul in learning SEC environs and in taking their lumps early on..aka..an SEC learning curve.

If true, the 2012 ATM schedule will help them long haul, albeit getting them off to a somewhat bruising early W-L mark as an official SECer.

If this is legit, I can imagine a letter to the Aggies AD:

Dear A&M AD,
Welcome to the SEC. You wanted the move, we gave it to you. here is your opponent list

@ LSU
@ Alabama
@ Auburn
Arkansas - Dallas
@ Florida
@ Georgia
@ Tennessee
vs. Vanderbilt

Have fun getting the shite kicked out of you.

Love Always,

Would be the equivalent of welcoming North Korea to the World Cup by forcing them to play Brazil, Portugal, and Ivory Coast.

A few years ago mark richt would not have minded that schedule. About 4 years ago didn't he have an amazing away record?
