Searched and was surprised I couldn't find a thread about it...
What is the purpose of the kick formation that the team was using for this game? I have never seen kick formations like that before. Felt like I was watching a Mighty Ducks movie or something. Anybody care to educate?

Um, because their best returner was on that side and we wanted all the coverage there.

takes longer for the return team to figure out who to block and how to set up... nobody practices against that set-up... great scheme if you ask me.

We did something similar in high school... Im guessing it makes it easier to disguise an onside kick

I thought we were saving it for the Bama game? We were supposed to keep it vanilla last night. I hope they don't realize Brad Wing can punt with both feet...
