Anyone wanna figure out how many 3 and outs the offense has?

Okay, i did it.

vs.

Oregon: 14 drives, 4 three and out

Northwestern State: 12 drives, 3 three and out, 1 two play drive where we fumbled. (Jakhari Gore)

MSU: 1 three and out, 1 two plays and an INT

So total, our drives that are 3 or less plays are 10 of 37.

Specifically 3 and outs, 8 of 37

72% of the time our O gets the ball, they have drives of 4 or more plays. We have had no scoring drives of three plays or less. But we do have around 5 scoring drives that consist of 4-6 plays.

Combine that with a defense that produces 3 and outs 53% of the time and you got a lethal combination.

And opposing defenses have only forced three and outs against our offense less than 22% of the time.

Nice work! Having the other side of the equation helps put the defensive 3 and outs in perspective.
