It's actually funny how everything played out. All the other conferences and teams except the BIG 1G(They were smart enough not play the game this time around) have been scrambling to try to keep up with the SEC or at least force some kind of stability.
The Big 12 is falling apart and nobody there trusts each other. Duct tape and bubble gum will only hold for so long.
The Pac 12 got used by Texas last year turned around and let OU bend them them over this year. Plus everyone knows that if 16 does eventually happen, the Pac has the most limit choices and their best options are still the teams that have been screwing them.
The Big EAST has been raided and is life support. Not to mention the basketball and football schools are further apart than ever.
Finally the ACC raised the exit fee and picked up two scrawny little weaklings to try to fend off that monster that is the SEC that they feel is lurking on their door steps.
With all these conferences scrambling for stability and raising exit fees to try to strong arm teams into staying, if they really want to see what true stability is. They should just look at the SEC. There's NO exit fee, because it's so much better here that you actually couldn't pay teams to leave. Whether this is really the end of it or not for a while, when everything is said and done, the SEC will still be king.
