Matherne's is getting the jump because the owner or something has a store in LaPlace which I guess is on a regular route for CCD.

Yes they do. I haven't been there in a while but it's worth a stop on the way down to NO I guess

I know this doesn't answer your question at all, but Avenue Pub in New Orleans has the Ommegang Whit and it is awesome. So there's that.

Didn't see any 4 packs but they had 750ml bottles.

Yes. I picked up a bottle at Matherne's on the way home and I am enjoying it now. Really good beer. I've had the Abbey Ale but not the BPA until tonight.

I'm assuming both have them, but he's prob talking about perkins@bbonnet

eta: Didn't even think about Matherne's on highland until I reread what I posted. Anyone ever been to that matherne's? Its rightby my house so I may need to check it out.

The 2 stores (Bluebonnet and Highland) have somewhat different selections. IMO the Highland store has a slighttly larger selection. La Chouffe comes to mind.

They have an excellent selection. They have stepped up their game this year.

just always assumed perkins. I'll be checking it out soon. Much closer than calandro's and the other matherne's to me.

I take a right on Highland from Kenilworth on the way home from work every day. Talk about convenient.

I was going to do the same, but I've been buying beer quicker than I can drink it.

Mr Ir, I picked up some more Unibroue recently. Got a bottle of Maudite and Quelque Chose. Been trying to get through the lineup before going back to La Fin.

Not that I REALLY care, but why is mathernes getting the jump on all of this stuff?

IDK, when I read on there that Calandros first got Lawnmower, I went over to Mathernes and asked Tim about why he didn't have any and he was a little irritated with this distributor. Maybe this is payback?

This AND Life and Limb? Damn that's rough for some freaking Lawnmower. Speaking of, Calandros DID get Divine Reserve 11. So maybe there's a little back and forth.

The shady world of distribution. Gotta love it.
