Let's say that Jordan Jefferson is suspended for this entire year and obtains some sort of redshirt year of credit. At the same time, Zach Mettenberger has a fantastic season contributing to a very successful season and is looked at as the starter for next year. What about Jefferson? Who will miles favor? Who would be better?

My prediction is that Jefferson will never take another snap at LSU. Miles will not burn a year
of eligibility with a player of Mett's talent. If Mett turns out to be a knucklehead then it is anyone's guess.
