We all love our homegrown guys but they ca't all ply for LSU.

You need to get together with that Lee guy that didn't want Les wasting a scholarship on Justin Hunter.

Chill with all this p&g pride bs. We want the best players not a bunch of scrubs that dreamt of playing in TS. LSU signs great players every year and if these three guys are LSU caliber, then they will get offers.

(they did have craig steltz in his freshman? year and nader abdallah)

Im glad somebody else has some sense here. EF had to lower their gpa requirement this yr to field a football team. Check the entrance requirements for LSU... These guys are in a terrible scholastic environment and will be lucky get out with a qualifying academic record. Why use up offers on high risk players. There are a few out there in each class that are worthy of the risk but they need to be ball busters.
EFHS will be playing Zachary High School this week and will be a good test. ZHS payed against another LSU recruit last week in Trey Granier and I was not impressed. TG got a pick six in the game but my grandma with a broken hip could have scored on that play. You all be the judge butI would have expected a little more of a dominent showing being a LSU commit.

There are at least 3 kids on the East Feliciana HS team that LSU needs to sign in the 2013 class

Did they go to LSU camp this summer? Miles and coaches will do the evals at camp. Maybe next summer. If they are not big time players they will need to go to summer camp.

Raheem Falkins is a WR I'd take over Ceasar. Shelby Christy is another. I'm not even saying I want these guys for LSU. I'd just rather have them than Ceasar.

According to Shea, besides LSU, Alabama, Auburn, and Miss. St. have all been in contact with Beckwith.

Hey, show me some video of WRs in the 2013 class from the southeast that are better than Beckwith and Ceaser

No Problem

Ronald Lewis

John Diarse

Rickey Jefferson

Plenty more but all this guys are probably coming to LSU and they are better than the 2 people you named

They are all sure fire 4* recruits minimum, not to hate on your EFHS boys but 2013 is pretty much another stacked year for LA so chances the people you named get interest or an offer are 0 to none no offense

Diarse, and Jefferson I agree are better than Ceaser...don't know about Lewis. I am talking about from an upside standpoint. You guys are missing it..Oh, and the kid from New Orleans is good too. Ceaser is an athlete who could even play DB. Also, Christy from Dutchtown is good too. I am sorry...

I think Ceasar would be a huge sleeper if he has grades. He runs so smooth like a Jerry Rice type kid. Look at him close...dont just look at now. Look at him for down the line.

I really like Jefferson...He is my #1 WR/DB but he is 5'11...Diarse is 5'11...Lewis is 6'0...see what I am talking about...We need 6'2-6'4 kids who can make plays...Ceaser is a long, tall and rangy kid who can make plays on the ball. Is he a top prospect now? By no means...but I can see his upside and range to be a great player down the line.

You have to sign a few sleeper every year. You can't sign all 4, 5 stars kids. Ceaser is a sleeper in the 2013 class. I am not worried about Beckwith at WR. He is an athlete who can play many spots on the field. I would say he would be a great OLB or SS...maybe WR...but dont know where he will end up. He is just an outstanding football player. He sticks out on the flim like...wow!

I remember LSU missed on a kid named Javon from Lafayette area who played for FSU and in the NFL. I remember seeing him on flim with the same talents just like Ceaser and everybody said that he could play at LSU. I have been around...Have seen alot of Louisiana football...

If Ceaser has the grades and signs with another SEC team. I dont want to hear it...I am going to say "I told you so". Even if LSU has to grey shirt him. We need the size at the WR or DB position. IF not BAMA and Auburn will kill us in the passing game....Stay turned...Good feedback on this topic...Nice list of players...

Anybody have any information on a kid from the Homua area named Williams. I think he is 6'2 200. Cant find anything on him.

you guys do know that ceasar graduated last year from high school right? Maybe a juco prospect in 2013 but he was a senior last football season.

We have been getting very good talent in the defensive backfield. If we get torched in the passing game by bama and auburn then it's a coaching issue. We have one of the best db coaches so I wouldn't worry if I were you. We've been getting those type of players you talk about...even on offense. We may not have any 6'5 guys, but they will come. Ronald martin, jalen collins, micah eugene, david jenkins, alonzo lewis, paul turner, armand williams, sam gibson, james wright, kadron boone, tharold simon, alfred blue, davante bourque, travin dural, kavahra holmes, avery johnson, jalen mills, derrick raymond, jerquinick sandolph, dwayne thomas, and others. We are not in need of the guys you mentioned. If they are talented enough for LSU to offer, then great, but we are by no means falling behind bama and others with our athletes...

Why are you leaving out the details of him going play pro baseball and then ending up at a JUCO before going to Florida State? It's not like LSU and FSU were in a heated battle for him out of HS.

I don't think that is true. From what I heard it was due to the district switching from block schedules in the 2009-2010 school year to 7 period last year and then back to block schedule this year. Its just a temporary technicality.
