Jordan Jefferson is GONE. J LEE is the QB and did a good job against the #3 team in the country. Tiger fans are the worst fans in the world...never happy!

Did you feel better about the team after the Washington game or after Saturday's game. I know my answer.

Team =/= Passing game.
I graded the passing game way ahead of the defense vs UW.

Why, why, why do people have to pick sides when it comes to the QB? How does any of this matter? They're both interchangeable and Lee is the guy for now.

The kid puts the team on his shoulders and gets voted captain. Runs the offense he was told to run, made few mistakes and won the game. What kinda douche pulls up his stat line to rip him after that?

I'm as proud of Lee as I was of Jefferson after the cotton bowl. I choose to pull for the whole team.

This!
I amazes me how when we win against a top 3 team, which most had us predicted to lose, you idiots are still not happy! JL didn't throw a INT and managed the game well. So Shut Up and enjoy the win.

Should be frustrating for the receivers though

Yes because they were piling up the stats with JJ......you kids really are idiots at times. Just for the record, the WR'sVERY MUCH wanted Lee last year and this year......people like you ...you get on here just to try and get a thread going....young...idiots.

you might be surprised who would get on here and do that.....who on our team (playing or suspended) has always appeared to be very selfish???? Whether this person or family/friends.....you don't think this goes on?

so if JJ won with the same stats, would the people defending Lee be defending JJ?

If that's the case then i have no problem with these fans. it's the ones who see no problems with lee that saw many with JJ that are hypocritical.

JJ led lsu to the #102 and #92 ranked total offense the past two years....any way you factor that,it is horrible offense. JL led lsu to the #52 ranked offense as a RSF...even with the pics....he cuts down on the pics...the overall offense will improve dramatically from the past two years....get your head out of your arse and you might understand this.

I honestly don't think so. There are people on this site who just hate JJ and some that hate JL. I have never seen a fan base more polarized by the QB situation than I have here since 2008. Totally fricking insane.

Let's see...4 or 5 dropped passes. Then there was a holding call that wiped out a long pass.

Was he great or perfect? No. Will he imporve? I think so.

For now...he beat the #3 team with solid play and a GREAT defense.

somewhat disagree...Lee had a little over a week to prepare as the starter and many of his incompletions were decent throws. He also showed some emotional leadership. If JJ's stats were the same, at the start of year 3 as the starter with all summer to prepare, a little more criticism would be warranted. Lee's performance certainly shouldn't be labeled "great" however.

that's a somewhat fair statement, but he is a 5th yr Sr. which is what his detractors will say.

i really don't care i see both QB's fairly, i'm just making a point that most don't. i hope Lee continues to improves and takes this team far.

He's shown you who he is, believe him. He's never going to be anything more than adequate, just accept it and as you said as long as he doesn't throw INT's to the other team, enjoy the great defense and running game that we have. Quit wishing for Lee to be the next great LSU QB, it ain't gonna happen.

Don't really think anyone is expecting him to be the next great. We've seen JJ get his shot for 2 years straight and he's proven to be nothing more than "adequate" and he's shown us who he is. Lee has not been the starter for 2 years so it can be argued that he's not a proven commodity and he could improve with significant playing time with the starters. Will be be great? Probably not. But i've seen JJ, and now i'm ready to see what Lee can do given equal chances JJ got.

I stopped wishing for ANY LSU QB to be the "next great QB" since Tommy Hodson.
