I hear Alonso has good size but is he that good? Also, what makes those 6 "awesome"...looking at their stats, speed, and general size I'm not to concerned. So I guess I'm looking as to why I should be?

Whenever a team gets really good their fans expect the backups to be better than departed starters (see us with C. Taylor, H. Coleman, L. Levingston, etc.). Seems like Oregon fans are following this line of thinking with their defense. They talk about their front seven like it's a given that they're going to be better than they were last year despite returning very few experienced players. We'll see I guess.

Kaddu and Lokombo played a ton last year. Clay was the 3rd ILB last year after Payinger and Matthews. He is an athletic upgrade and played extensibly as a true frosh in '09: the only true frosh to ever play in quite some time at LB (very hard scheme). Stuckey is a 4 star 5th year senior that has a big set of guns on him and is very comfortable in the system. Malone is part of new generation of players we are getting.

Alonso is just an enforcer and played a ton in our run to the rose bowl. Big, physical, and very athletic.

As far as undersized, see Hatche and look no further.

I don't know what speed metric you are using but Lokombo got D1 looks at WR and Clay/Kaddu are very fast. Not sure why you think that unless it's a tired overused meme...
