I thought it was because they wouldn't let his family stay at the office after Gustav since they had power there. Either way, that's a crazy way to end your tenure. I remember him bitching on Ott's show about it the day after.

He has sleep apnea and couldn't run his c-pap machine in his apartment because there was no power.

Dick move by The Advocate. One of many reasons they are and always will be a 2nd rate newspaper.

I've seen a lot of inaccuracies about myself and others in the media on this site (and others), and I can't set the record straight on all of them, but I'd like to about this. I was not on Jimmy Ott's show the day after I left The Advocate, and I never talked about any of the circumstances post-Gustav on Jimmy's show or any other radio show.

Funny article, good luck Carl, it is a hard fit sometimes for a s. Louisiana guy on the left coast. But the scenery is nice and the weather is mostly mild.

When I seen someone post some German references I picture a 15 y/o with 50K posts who has no life beyond his PC and his XBox. People with real lives don't memorize every post for the last month, so GFY.
