Fail to connect to EA online

WTF EA.
$60 per game and your damn servers can't keep up. I can't get on NHL or Battlefield.
Played fine for over a year, but this past week I can't get on EA online servers.
And the EA customer support group are as helpful as a one-legged man in an arse kicking contest.
