... and neither can Russell Shepard - considering that neither is a sure thing right now, can LSU win this game?

Not trying to flame, but Oregon will give us problems - just like every other spread team we have ever faced. Will we have enough weapons to fight back?

I would expect the offense to be JLee handoff and naked bootlegs mixed in run off the JLee handoffs with shotgun passing on obvious passing downs.

Understand, that I do not think Jefferson will be arrested or charged in this incident, but I have doubts about is availibility.

LSU could win with me at QB. Off yourself.

While I expect shep to be much more productive this year, he didn't do much last tear and I wouldn't consider it Too much of a loss. Please don't take that the wrong way as I think he is an important factor.

And for JJ I don't think he woul have performed well enough to where our othe two guys can't get it done as well. With JJ we would still be running all over their asses and without him it opens up our passing game.

All in all, we still beat Oregon.

Eta: I meant to say, kill yourself an stop with these threads you frick!.... Yeah.

If anything it opens up the offense more with a legit passing threat.

It's ashame when you can't come on a message board and ask opinions about a subject and not get destroyed.

My answer: if Jlee plays within himself and doesn't try to carry the whole load & keeps TO's minimal, we can totally win this with our Runningbacks, D. Peterson and RR.

Appreciate the real comments. I actually think the not having Russell Shepard would be a bigger loss than Jordan Jefferson. Jordan and Jarrett simply bring different things to the table, but Jordan simply does more things well.

My worry here is WR depth, not quantity of quality players, but true difference makers - like the ones we'll be lining up against.
