yes I understand the missed tackles by the 1s are frustrating, but game plan wise, why the hell should we run a single look that we think might work against this offense when we play the same team less than a month from now when it counts?

on offense, vanilla is the name of the game, did we run 3 screen passes or 4 the first 2 possessions? the 1s were very much improved running the ball, and the passing game will be there by September 8

I'm not worried, I'm pissed. It's crappy effort by the defense.

again, you honestly think we are smarter than everyone else in the league and that we are the only ones that don't employ the full playbook??

so the Texans threw everything out there and showed their hand, but we are smarter than them and didn't, just so we didn't show them what we really are going to run later in the season? some sort of "secret playbook" shite?

we got raped on both sides of the ball tonight, but we are supposed to believe that when the lights go on, against the defending Super Bowl champions, we are just gonna snap out of it huh?

i admire people like you... life must be very interesting, completely ignoring glaring, blatantly obvious warning signs...

Not worried, just a little surprised

Houston's 1st team offense made it look insanely easy tonight.

No worried. The missed tackles are the only thing i'm disappointed in.

They'll clean that up but its inexcusable.

Everything went to hell after Brees fumbled. Had we scored after moving it so well on that 1st drive I think things would have turned out different.

I'm not worried. This is the time of the year that gives me the most joy of making fun of dumb fans.
I liked it a few years ago when this board was mostly just educated fans. Lets wait to get worried until after the Packers game you chicken littles.

Only concern I see is that the O-Line needs to gell together. Pass protection looked like shite at times.

It was good football on our part.

We should have not even played this one since we play them in a few weeks. It was bland for a reason and, did you notice, we almost never blitzed? That was on purpose.

count me in the not worried, its preseason, most great teams lose preseason games, not to mention we play them early in the season, thus the vanilla playbook.....people who are worried are retarded pussies

good for you. Sorry about your sudden blindness as well

Here are some issues for me:

OL - Peee U. Pressure from the sides, pressure up the middle. Got to come together there, week in Cali might help but might need to find another tackle and Kreutz is a concern

Overall energy was lacking. Maybe just in a worn out mode or something but IMO they didn't show last night, glad it was just preseason

3-4 defenses- Seem to terrorize SP and Drew for some reason...Teams pick this kind of thing up, might see more special 3/4 packages from teams that don't go 3/4 full time

preseason is preseason. Every team is different. Saints play this same team in week 3 (?) of regular season, so Im hoping it was just a blah we don't care kind of deal.....

but there are more concerns on this team than I had 3-4 weeks ago, but I'm not ready to throw the baby out with the bath water either

but there are concerns
