There is no way this happens, you have to have an equal number of teams for a conference championship game. You are just blindly hoping that is what Slive said.

Believe what you want. I'm just telling you what has been reported by multiple inside sources on the A&M side.

Are you sure about that?

The only rule I know of in regards to a CCG is that a conference must have at least 12 teams to have one.

And I don't know why some are making the 13-team deal some sort of "issue" as it's not. If the SEC invites A&M, it is inevitable that the league is going to 14 or 16 teams, so why does it matter if the league stands at 13 for a year or two while the other addition is finalized?
