Spent the day in College Station...

I was on the Texas A&M campus and around College Station today. It just doesn't have the feel of a SEC campus at all. I really expected more. I have to say I was a bit underwhelmed.

The name "College Station" sounds like a really cool place...sounds are deceiving.

Agreed Capstone on feeling underwhelmed. Not trying to insult anyone here, but I've always thought that A&Ms campus is probably the ugliest of all the major schools I've visited...which is a good number. This is coming from someone who really admired A&M in high school and considered applying (one of my favorite hats is an Aggies hat). I think the stadium is up to par, but the campus is very bland. Sorry.

In all fairness, people who go to Texas A&M are just fricking weird. Weird in that they are full of themselves, their school and totally oblivious to the fact that they are total douchebags.

Stayed there for my little sister's AAU swim meet this summer for a couple of days. We stayed in an on-campus apartment and it was decked out. Not sure if it's like that everywhere on campus but the place is so huge that living on campus would be a must for me.

My brother and his wife live in CS. I look forward to having 1 more reason to make the drive there and visit them for our away games.
