I do NOT want A&M to join the SEC. That would frick everything up. Our conference is fine the way it is. What would we gain from A&M joining the West? Nothing. And yes, I'm mad.

I agree with this to a point, but at the same time the SEC is trying to be progressive. I just wish they would add a school with more of a basketball tradition.

I agree but I don't think we can just sit back and watch superconderences form while we stroke each others egos.

one is getting smaller (Big 12) and the other two are just now getting to the same number we're at. (Pac 10, Big 10)

Who cares about the Big East they suck at football.

What other super-conference?

And I'm not talking about fricking basketball.

Pac 10 went to 12
Big 10 went to 12

SEC was already at 12.

Man, screw all you let's keep it at 12 teams bullshite.

If you aren't changing and evolving you're dying.

The SEC is hardly dying. Everyone else wants to be us.

Was that a roundabout Dylan reference?

Anyhow, how are we dying? We've been the strongest conference in the country for the last 5 years.

Dammit, you dumb people.

All I'm saying is that when an opportunity comes to grow your market and make greater strides you should take it.

In order for the sec to remain at the top it must move forward, do none of you remember last summer when talks of a pac-16 ruled college football? Why follow the crowd when the sec can lead by example and have first choice of teams to expand with. If the ACC were to move to 14-16 teams why would FSU or VT come to the sec?

In order to remain the best you've got to stay ahead of the curve and if you think conference expansion is over you're kidding yourself. None of the other conferences are going to sit idly and be happy with 12 going forward now that the sec has started expansion talks again.
