He ranked in the top 5 twice. In the top 30 three times.

2nd in 2004
3rd in 2003
27th in 2005
56th in 2006

In his worst year (2006) his offense threw for 3,000 yards and rushed for nearly 1,600. Against shitty competition of course.

That's beside the fact that he would only be the OC for a year or two.. and if the trend is meaningful.. we'd be in pretty good hands Cut him loose in 2 years and profit. He's basically an interim OC right?

At least he started off with a bang. That's all he has to do here

Stud's not going to install and run 'his offense'.

Obviously not. But he's shown himself to be more than capable at running an offense.

yeah, Omar Jacobs. threw for like 40 TDs and 2 INTs 1 yr. crazy stuff.

don't think Stud called plays though, I think the HC was the OC under Urban and he called em for a time.

2004:

#2 - Total
#3 - Passing
#43 - Rushing
#4 - Scoring

2005:

#24 - Total
#18 - Passing
#61 - Rushing
#19 - Scoring

2006:

#56 - Total
#92 - Passing
#18 - Rushing
#89 - Scoring

The reason his stats are so good in 2004 and 2005 is because of Omar Jacobs.

this shouldn't change much of anything. miles was already going to have his say-so on what formations we run out of, and the majority of the meaningful plays he would have been called anyway.
