First & foremost, prayers go out to Coach Krags & his family in difficult time & an obvious rocky road going forward.
As far as the team, the offense should be fine as long they continue to run the basic philosophies that Krags had already began to install. Krags being able to still coach the QB's is huge. He'll still be able to help them progress & work on any mistakes that he notices. Even though it will be on an limited basis, his ability to still have an input on the offensive is far better then him having no input at all.
Finally, one thing we know about a Miles coached team is that there is real family atmoshere environment around it. Sometimes a negative can be a positive. I can see Coach Miles & this team playing & dedicating this season to Coach Krags. This could definitely become a rallying point that pushes this team to great things.

Gosh, I love College Football fans.
All off-season Krags was the difference maker in this team. Now, his removal from the OC position to a limited QB coach roll is now no big deal.
This is a HUGE deal, but it doesn't mean LSU can't overcome. I'd say most teams in the top 25 would not be able to overcome something like this, but most teams wouldn't have been able to overcome the Perrilloux loss either (2010 Texas perfect example). Noth that LSU didn't struggle after losing Perrilloux, and not that this will definitely equate to as many (or any) losses, but trying to diminish this to make you feel better is foolish.
Having confidence in Strud, Gonzo and Miles does not have to think this isn't a big deal. It is a big deal, can LSU answer?
