Not sure if you have heard this, but Richie said that he doesnt plan on committing anywhere until after his HS season and possibly not until January.

Nick James said the same earlier this year, yet you continually question us on why he hadn't committed to LSU yet.

Mainly because some of you LSU guys think that LSU is Richie and Nick's dream school and that isn't even the case. I think both are looking for early PT similar to CJ Johnson last year.

If they truly love LSU as much as you guys lead on the
A. They were told to wait by the LSU before the commit or
B. They are taking their time and looking at all schools who are recruiting them.

Also both Richie and Nick spoke highly of Mississippi State this weekend and said they don't have a leader.

Who says you have to commit right away even though you have a favorite?

If we want them, they're ours..it might sound cocky but that's too bad..I know for a fact Richie would take an LSU offer over one from state(no brainer)

Not really. If Brown waits till January to commit, there may not be a spot for him at LSU.

That is kind of what I was getting at when I mentioned the 18 commitments.

In an interview Richie said he is going to look at all of the schools recruiting him's depth charts to see who they have coming back. Early PT is important to him as well and I believe he has a great chance to not only play as a freshman at Mississippi State but be a starter with us losing 2 SR starting LBs

Well, since LB looks to be the weakest part of our defense this year, I think that gives us an advantage. He's not going to be scared of the guys on our depth chart.

I agree that Richie or Nick aren't LSU locks. But if there is one position where an incoming recruit can get early playing time at LSU is is linebacker

And you already have 3 guys committed at that position. You may not think recruits notice stuff like that but they do.

But he is the only white LB of the group, that should count for something.
