Good question about dipping down to N.O. I thought about it but probably going to stay above it for the simple reason that my wife and I have been to New Orleans many times and if we went there, we probably would not make it to Mississippi. Great responses from everyone. Thank you very much.

That's why we just mutter 'innastate'.

There is a gas station at the Sorrento exit (182), just south of I-10 on the right, that has great boudin balls and other assorted goodies.
