Where can I find Insurance Company ratings?

I'm looking for homeowners for our first home purchase. I'm very new to all of this and I have heard of the Insurance company ratings. I went to the LA Dept. of Ins. website and can't find anything.
Any help or advice would be appreciated

Not sure how reliable the site is but it is a good start.
My advice is join the army and get USAA.

I currently have state farm but am getting a price from AMICA as we speak to see if I can save money.
