Some Indians...

Tony Fernandez

Luis Gonzalez was my favorite Astro growing up (Him and Biggio). Liked him, Steve Finley and also Darryle Kile (Not sure if that is the correct spelling but RIP DK nonetheless.)

Edgar Rentaria he's won several rings. Not a ringer or HOF, but he's a solid journeyman SS.

Jose Cruz, Brad Ausmus, Art Howe, Dickie Thon, Vinny Castilla, Terry Pendelton.

Yeah -- all former Astros at some point in their careers, with the exception of Pendelton. I've been an Astros fan for a long time. <sigh>.

edit: I guess you can remove Jose Cruz and Dickie Thon from the list, they don't exactly fall under the OP's criteria of "journeymen with solid careers". Jose played for Astros his entire career and Dickie took a fastball to his eye and never really recovered.

Give me Sean Berry and Jay Powell, winner of Game 7 of the 1997 World Series. The acquisition of he, Alou and Randy Johnson made the '98 Astros staaaaaaacked.

He is an absolute stud. Three years ago I would have bet he made it to 3000 hits but he started sucking almost overnight.
