I dont know 500 yards longer would be a huge difference where a longer driver would have a huge advantage.
Scratch golfer probably averages 290 off the tee PGA pro averages 240. 50 yards a hole would add up quick. My guess is that it depends on course set up. I could see a 6900 yard course with either winning. I would pick scratch on St. Andrews and I would pick LPGA on a tree lined course.
200 yards out goes to scratch 100 yards in goes to LPGA.

Scratch golfer averages more like 270 compared to 250 by an LPGA golfer. Not to mention shes much more accurate.

Other than holes 1, 17 and 18, St. Andrews is a pasture with heavy wind, feskew everywhere and lots of trouble. The average scratch is no where near par there. An LPGA pro has all the shots...bump and run, 200' putts, knock down, half-clubs, etc. At St. Andrews, the pro would win by 10+ strokes. 20 if you add a gallery.
