Infantry Only Option in BF3 CONFIRMED

Blog with BF3 dev confirms the team deathmatch option in multi and also reveals that there will be "infantry only" options available in multi as well..Sorry vehicular campers

i'm assuming you are referencing a link that says that players will have the ability to play in a playlist or gametype that is 'infantry only' ?

that was my understanding...That they will have the option to play TDM, Rush and Conquest without any tanks/Heli/whatever on the map at all.
I think more options is a good thing.

It was already a day purcahse for me..But I like the idea that they have the philosphy of not telling you "how to play" and they are just putting all sorts of options in there. It just adds more replayability in the game.

Snipers have not been a problem these past 2 weeks. Can count on 2 hands how many times I've been killed by one.

You never know..If they are letting you take tanks off the map..they may let you create matches that specify which classes are available to play.."TDM : No Snipers"

I don't mind vehicles in any of the BF games. I do hate the airplanes.
It's pretty ridiculous IMO.
I do like infantry only maps though. Man, I need to go and reinstall BF2! I love that game.
