Who's representing the Hornets in the owner talks?

My friend and I were just thinking, is an NBA official going to sit in the owners' meetings for the Hornets?

That's what they're paying Jac Sperling for I presume. Stern and the other 29 owners probably don't give a rats arse what he thinks, but he seems like the guy they'd send.

Maybe we should send one of the Honeybees? Cuban will probably say he has enough money to buy the Hornets and will say he speaks on our behalf. Then he will propose a trade CP3 for Barea and the league will approve because they hate us.

Honestly how many of the real owners matter in these discussions? There aren't that many truly influential owners in the NBA. I can't imagine anyone listens to guys like the Maloofs.
