By any measure he is a below average QB. Stats, team success, individual accomplishment, etc...sperm is not an accomplishment.

So you were a venerable six years old when he was traded?
So I still remember watching him play and my mom has alot of those games recorded from when he played so Ive watched them not long ago. My mom is the reason Im such a Saints fan. She used to set me in front of the TV in my carrier when I was a baby to watch the Saints games. So Ive literally been watching them my whole life.

What's funny is AB was also more talented than AM, so the fighting Archies really have nothing. Brooks was 6'6 with a top 3 arm (his velocity was off the charts) and mobile. Had a game where he rushed for 100 yards and then threw for 400 the next week...he just had a big head and small brain...heard he liked to powder his nose too

nowhere near 6'6", 6'4" at most, I give you credit on his arm because the guy threw lasers, but he couldn't think his way out a donkeys arse! and had and attitude that rivaled Jamarcus' attitude!

but both pulled one over the NFL's eye by getting those huge paydays!

We have been discussing Archie this whole damn thread.

Again.
How did Brooks do when he went to the raiders?

He dislocated his shoulder in either the 1st or 2nd game. Seriously who cares what he did in 1 season in Oakland? Brooks was better and it's not even something that can be contested.

Your right. What a QB does on a crappy team has no bearing on his skill level.

No, what a QB with a bad injury does in 8 games in one season doesn't matter...you can keep pointing to crappy teams though, I'll keep pointing to archie's crappy career

Yeah george blanda was awesome...

I'm glad Roger staubach helps you cope with the fact Archie wasn't very good..

Archie's career is what it is (or was) the numbers are there and you can twist it anyway you want to, but the fact remains he had a disappointing career. People who do remember him as a great player say the word IF alot.

So I'll ask you this. What are Archie's career accomplishments?
